I had assumed that they paid for it - either in money or donation of products and implementation services. Personally, I think the Oracle name appearing front and center on the 100's of thousands of hits on that web site each day may be worth the price. Of course we can only guess what the price was that Oracle paid and Novell was not willing to pay. OR - CNN simply did not even provide a similar high profile location on the front page for Novell to bid on. Guess we wont know. Toy
