Joe, the press is saying that some of the gold majors are unwinding their hedging. However, I have a suspicion that there's more to the move in gold. There has been a rumor floating around the last day or two that Goldman Sachs could go belly up over its gold hedging practices, manipulation of gold price. The rumor is that an emergency meeting is being held with the Fed to save their ass. The other thing that should help all metals is the unemployment rate, buying metals to hedge inflation fears. There is also the value of PGM usage in fuel cells that seem to be the market rage. Pick any reason, we could even flip a coin. <VBG>
