Marc, I am new to this SI resource as of last night. Your message was one of the first I read. Would you be kind enough to provide me with info on the "G&K" thread? I liked your comments about it and would appreciate your help. I can't locate it on the SI website. Many thanks, Jack

Increasing posting activity on a particular stock board may indicate the stock is attracting more momentum players. A 'chasm crossing' of shareholder composite from early adopters (investors) to early majority (traders) may be taking place here. It took 600 days to reach 600 posts, 600 days to reach 1200 posts and 108 days to reach 1800 posts. Average days to make 100 posts dropped from 100 for the first 3 1/2 years, to thirty days late fall '99 to one day now. Does thread interest relate to stock price volatility?
