Well, I consider myself a very polite person, but that's no excuse for having a box in your attic whose contents are a mystery to you. Surely we can find a polite reason to invade Uncle CHarlie's diminutive domain. What if Uncle Charlie had put his pet hamster in there, expecting any normal person to look in the box? It will be very hungry and upset by now. What if it contains secret documents that would bring about world peace? What if it's a Nobel Prize winning book? What if it's a really cool Confederate flag for him to hang on his new flagpole? Maybe it's Uncle Charlie's silver. And of course, it could be Uncle Charlie himself. Inquiring minds demand answers. (I was just kidding about the flag, CR.)
