i received the wallstreet week year end review transcripts yesterday .

one interesting list of picks was from michael holland. in his 10 picks, he included : germany fund, irish fund, new germany fund, portugal fund, spain fund and swiss helvetia fund...

are we gonna be flooding this thread with comments of 'got europe' soon ??

eddie brown was on, and he replied to a question about the canuck buck with this : canada could be a good play if you select some value plays or resources , his picks incl. royal bank, td bank, inco , COMINCO (rah rah) and domtar.

marty zweig came off as the most bearish, predicting a dow close for the yr of 10825. his picks included global marine and rowan companies.

laszlo's beaten down picks included sears, xerox, disney and iomega.

as far as the current situation, bernadette murphy went bullish, so their elves are + 8 bullish, ie.. 8 bulls and two neutrals...

placer's action was mentioned but not by name (i.e. one large gold producer)
