it's on the light side of medium when compared to put volume lately. but it's absolutely NOTHING compared to put volume say 5 years ago. dollar volume of index puts has declined sharply as the stock market has gone up over the years...the bulls feel bullet-proof. mutual fund cash levels are at a record low btw....i see lots of paper, lots of margin, a maxed out consumer debt-wise and NO cash apart from what bubble boy is printing occasionally. you may say that's a lot, but it all adds to the debt pile...
