"predicting" is an interesting concept. I remember 2 years ago, digging out all of my neutral network information and trying to understand what Kevin was saying on the TSO thread. Remember those days???

Jim,

Gold is showing some life here. The XAU crossed the 50, 100 and 200 day EMA in one move. One of the big Canadian gold producers removed their hedging program. The street must be thinking that the price of gold is finally going to rise in the next few months.

It could be an early signal that we are entering the later stages of the economic cycle when commodity prices finally move and commodity based companies start to move. Time to look at the oil drillers again, though they have had a good move already due to the high oil prices, artifical production levels or not.
