Look at jbe's message. I am in the same "Melmac" arena ;-) It doesn't break. I have a lot of the same pieces that you do, I am older and got them for Wedding Gifts. If I use a piece then I have been cleaning it with Gorham Silver Polish and a tooth brush. It works but I sure would rather put the damn stuff in the Dishwasher. I want to be sure that I am using the right dishwasher detergent ;-) You have a very Valuable Collection there. I am an Antique Collector, I love the Small pieces of old Victorian Furniture, reminds me of my Grandmother :-)
