They can just put in a 128K L1 like the Athlon uses. It'll be much faster. They don't even need an L2 on a low end chip. Besides, if AMD can crank out volume with a 128K L1, they can do a 128K L2.

Now tell me why Intel hasn't been able to produce anything with an L1 bigger than 32K.
