Correct me if I am wrong but the SunRay must be connected to the server 100% of the time. It does not have a OS or browser does it? If not, it is not a home intranet appliance. The PC is able to dial into the companies server. Oh yeah, do you think Ford is giving these PC's out so their employees can surf the internet. No, I think they are providing them so they can be connected to the co. intranet when at home.

It is only a matter of time (i.e., broadband connections) when the SunRay will be used in the home with 100% uptime connected to a server.

P.S.: What type of PC's are they giving out? Linux or MSFT OS.

I say it takes three qualities to understand a PC:
Enough intelligence
Interest in learning
Inclination to spend the time to figure it out. Not a lot of people have all three.

You forgot the need for a strong stomach when you finally figure out what is really going on in there!
