I am as of Friday close up to a new high for my retirement port (10% for the year). Now over 803 k. Softbank is carrying most of the load in terms of gains. I recall that you also own some Softbank shares.

I fully agree with your basket approach on the non-pc chip makers. I have most of the ones you have listed as owned by you.

For me trying to balance wireless exposure, fiber optic exposure, semi exposure, b2b exposure, and misc. net, fibre, and software exposure is difficult to do. But, I have traded very, very little this year compared to last. This seems strange since this past 30 plus days have been a stock pickers market. As you say, it is very difficult to profit often when one is working full time in a profession that does not involve the stock market. As a result my trading taxable port is down to a 11% gain for this year. Forgot to profit often due to working for clients! Such is life.

Best regards, Bob
