MeD-- It was a sh!tty deal at the time. They blew it period! At the time those IPOs were doing much better than they have since. Risk-- CMGI is a risk! Anyone that wants to own it surely would laugh at the thought of buying cpq to get a piece,, same with AV now,,, AV was late and is much later now. Marketing was the key and cpq failed miserably as cmgi is doing now. No one outside of those that follow IPOs is aware of what AV even is any longer. Again,, cpq may be able to gather a few cents per qtr selling these and other issues,, no reason to buy this stock when there are others much better at doing that. The AV IPO will do as much for cpq at the IPO as cmgi is doing now-- NETZERO!
