<OT> Now that is what I need--a motorcycle. I haven't been on one since I was a kid. Many years ago, I spent some time in Dallas. I frequented "Bob Lily's Other Place" and one called "Wellington's." The last time I was in Dallas I looked out of my hotel window, saw flat land for as far as I could see. I remember thinking that the wind must start in Oklahoma and end up in the Gulf. Then on the way to the airport, I was driven past "Bob Lily's" and "Wellington's." I don't remember which but one was then a tire store. I haven't forgiven Dallas for that. <gggg>

I was on the beer trying thing myself. Then I met a "yeast beer" or something and almost barfed on the taste. After that, I tried one with a cherry in it. I couldn't quite figure that one out. I think this was my wine-tasting era also. I had the empty bottles lined up everywhere. Just about everyone makes a good wine now. I settled on a couple of wineries. Joseph Phelps reds; Beaulieu Vineyards reds; Schramsberg Champaign (Methode or whatever). $20 to $30 a bottle should get you what you need.

The drive between Denver and Grand Junction is great--as long as you don't have a head cold. My favorite drive was from Santa Fe to Los Alamos as the sun was ready to rise. The sun turns the buttes and surroundings red, orange, and brown. I'm primarily into concrete, glass, and underground trains now. <ggg>
