Cost of RDRAM

Please check out the links at www.rambusite.com

There at some inexpensive HP machines starting from about $1400.

These machines will be at 500mz CPU or there abouts.
It only gets really expensive when you want the top of the line 800mz Intel processor.

Is this an RDRAM problem, an Intel problem or both?
For those long on Rambus it probably does not matter.

However, those buying on price alone will not have that much of a problem finding something with RDRAM at a reasonable price.

Myself, I use Photoshop alot. I would rather have CPU and memory operating at 500mz than a CPU operating at 800mz and memory at 133mz.

We all want RDRAM to come down in price ASAP. It appears that RDRAM is coming down about 5% a week (roughly). Is this fast enough to head of RDRAM-II? Let's all hope so.
