<<MARKET GEMS UPDATE>> Looks like we'll be moving to a brand new state-of-the-art website by the 18th to the 28 of February. Sometime during this weekend you will be asked to register for our new bulletin board. This will have about 5 forums at first, including 1 for subscribers who would like to discuss ONLY watch list picks and/or earnings plays, and 1 for everyone who has questions about our service. The others will be password protected and closed for posting except for our forum moderator. I've been working through the night for the past 3 nights trying to move things along for our deadline as well as generally working on next week's "earnings calendar" upates. There will be considerable changes in our service and some will overlap with our new internet partners. No price hikes for our members, on agreement with our merged partners. There will however not be 'formal' intraday updates as part of the BASIC service although there will be some days when I will be spending most of the day on the thread and bulletin boards and other days when 2-3 updates will have to suffice. Its a matter of how volatile the markets are, time constraints, etc. It will much the same as it was in the past few months. Our focus is on "Education" and "research for premium stock selection (including ADR's etc)" and most of the work will be done on BOTH the Earnings Plays and Watch List plays for a 'comprehensive' list of 'techno-fundamental' and momentum trading choices. There will be a "core" portfolio in collaboration with our partners as well as 'proprietary software: EPS' for those who want 'automated buy triggers' according to strategies programmed into the software. There will also probably be e-mail alerts, but with the intraday updates, thorough watch lists/earnings plays calendar research, I honestly don't think most of our traders will be needing them. A real time trading forum is already operational by our future partners, but at this time Market Gems (i.e. myself) is not formally participating although there is a good chance 'our picks' will be part of the forum. This trading forum is quite upscale and has been operational for a number of years aleady.
