David,

People tend to think of medical supply/device companies as boring I suppose. V1 suggested that Gliatech should sell off the whole ADCON business at a massive discount.

I happen to *like* these boring ones as long as they meet two criteria. There has to be enough cash coming from the boring side to support the valuation and the cash has to be sufficient to support research on a wild card that's preferably not included in present valuations.

GLIA meets those criteria and so does NABI. Moreover, Gliatech is potentially sitting on such a monster cash cow in the ADCONs that the wild card may end up being just frosting - very thick and creamy - on top of the cake. NABI is different, their cash source doesn't show all that much growth, but it happens to provide them with an excellent source of material to scan for new strains of virii.

I've already piled in on GLIA. I'm too poor to have a truck; I had to use the Benz which can't hold that much, but still....

Thanks, Torben
