Ali - RE: "Why are you [Windsock] so mad of AMD?" Apparently AMD has "dog breath", or something like that. Did you know Windsock is a master of scent on the 'net? The scent flows to him like the wind, unfortunately it is usually of an old sock. Maybe that is why he is often grouchy. ;)

Ali - Just quickly glanced at the Saturday Long Island Newsday. There were full page adds for four local chains, 2 have 2 stores, 1 has 3 stores, one has four stores. All are offering an HP 800 MHz PIII. Tomorrow, the national chains put their inserts in the Sunday papers (Comp USA, Circuit City). I'll check those and report. Does seem to be limited to HP. The adds for other computers are mostly for HP, Compaq, still some IBMs, AOpen. There were some adds for Athlon 650s.
