I'm not sure why you sent this note to me, because I do not recall discussing the issue.

If eBay doesn't want to allow other sites access to their data, I suppose that is their call. I don't think it is a very smart move for them, because they get a lot of (almost) free exposure.

I view other sites providing access to eBay auctions as a sort of third party add-on. The more add-ons, the more eBay becomes the standard.

eBay's search capabilities are pretty basic, but not nearly what I would like to see. If other companies made it easier to search, I would be buying even more on eBay.
