techguerrilla: 21st Century seems to have great service and I like to support the underdog. AT&T /TCI is the big Kahuna in the cable business and IMO they take things for granted too much. Last year 21st Century was bought by RCN -- a CLEC on the east coast (which is backed by Paul Allen's billions -- they have the funding they need to roll out the best technology and provide superior service). I recently moved to Lincoln Park and have a number of friends in the area who are very pleased with their 21st Century service. You can call them at 1-888-790-2121 to see if they have coverage where you are. The other option is to go with AT&T's @tHome cable modem service. 21st Century has some BIG promotions going on now -- I got totally free installation and went with their cable service as well (170 channels for $29/month). When you are a cable subscriber you get a better deal on cable modem service.
