George--regardless of what one thinks of Prechter--he was one of the FIRST ones some years ago to forecast disinflation etc and his record on Gold all the way down from the 800 top has been excellent---Most people hold his views in disrepute because he badly underestimated the overall stock mania and was once a guru who passed the mantle (as they all do--even Abbey will one day). Wolanchuk likes to ridicule him etc etc etc for competitive reasons and because --well Wolanchuk is Wolanchuk I guess---all of this is true--BUT in P's defense, most people are not aware that his medium and long term forecasts on Gold have thus far been very insightful and for the most part right---so IF one is investing in Gold (not the tech mania)-I suppose one might ask himself--"should I listen to him because his record on Gold has been bang on or should I disregard his views because he more than met his match in the internet/tech mania.-----I will be the first to admit that since Gold has never made any sense to me (like the internets in the clouds), I probably am influenced by that when I read P's views on Gold since he says what I think should rationally happen in the long run so I "believe" what I want to believe I suppose, like most of us do.
