Did I hear a whine out there? Business fundamentals are the most important part of management's job. Its naive to consider it the only part. Promotion and brand building also are important. There is another issue at stake as well. Chronically low share price can hurt business fundamentals. How? For one, low share price equates to unattractive currency for M&A alternatives. For another, low share price equates to unattractive employee incentives. If you don't think so, imagine yourself a talented software engineer or high energy sales rep. who is choosing between MSTR, BOBJ, and SGNT. If there is a story to tell, tell it. I think there is a story to tell. Sagent is not getting that job done for now.
