Dan,

Thank you for the chart. The crossing of the blue over the gray is clear a confirmation that the CRB has made the turn. It should continue up as long as the economies around the world continue to improve.

On 2/03, the Barron's GMI was 319.57, down from the previous week's 326.36. With the POG up to 293.65(2/04), the ratio was 1.9, down from the previous week's 1.14. A year ago the ratio was 1.15. The fact that the GMI published in Barron's every week is for the previous Thursday had a major impact this week. The GMI for Friday was 380.22 (my calc.) and the ratio would have been 1.295. Now we need the ratio for future weeks to continue to increase to confirm a bull market.

Cheers,
Larry
