It's a dazzling picture that you paint,Jonas. There surely is a fair measure of truth there. I think, though, maybe things might not be as apocalyptic as you anticipate. It seems to me that stocks are overpriced, compared to the (good?) old days, by a factor of two or so. Way back when, e.g. the sixties, a stock with a record like CISCO could sell for 60 times earnings. Now? 120 times earnings. If the great correction occurs, then in ten years time, the company that sextuples its earnings may only triple in stock price. It's not the stuff of which tragedies are made, right?
