For the fourth quarter of 1999, cash flow was US$118 million, or US30 cents per share, from US$149 million, or US39 cents per share, in the year earlier period. The lower cash flow in the quarter reflects a net increase of US$52 million in working capital items.

For the year, operating cash flow rose to US$702 million, or US$1.80 per share, compared with US$539 million, or US$1.43 per share, in 1998.
