Rude-- A few cents per qtr over a LONG period seems to be their plan and probably makes the most sense. Quadruple EPS is correct and WS would not count that either into valuation. Look where the good numbers with $.03 of that kind of EPS put the price this qtr,, down $4! The point is anyone wanting that type of earnings sure as hell would not buy CPQ but something like CMGI that really know that business,,, CPQ has not been able to get a valuation in their core business in a year-- or do you believe it is a 28 - 30 $$ issue?? Get real,,, CPQ is not a holding company but is suppoosed to be a technology company,,, they have to prove again they can make a decent profit and are worth the multiples they had in the past. If that was a given the stock would be much higher than today meaning there still are more people questioning that than are believers...
