I didn't realize this was going to be an option, and I wonder if this will be standard procedure, or if it is trial-oriented. If the former, this is another huge benefit to Rentals. The only way to copy those to a personal tape is to have dual machines, or similar h/w capability. One of my own hesitations in evaluating whether I would use VOD, was the disadvantage to the Rental stores "7 Day Rental" for older selections (kids can basically watch a movie 40 - 65 times before getting bored with it). If I can tape it, it becomes unlimited viewing....Advantage VOD...
