Ah, so! That's why he took his time getting here. February 5, 2000, first day of the Year of the Dragon. He wanted to be a Dragon boy! Very auspicious. Hail, Brother Dragon!

Congratulations to all - mama, papa, and big sister. There is a bright side to the C section, other than the obvious, and that is that his features will be more regular (unsquished) and he will probably be more handsome.

And lord, what a whopper! No wonder he wouldn't come out "the regular way."

Much good news. Thank you very much for telling us.

Just realized I barged in here at a joyous moment. Congratulations SudsDude! My hunch is he'll be doing wordplay by the time he's two.

Congratulations, Lather! And get a good night's/day's sleep. It may be the last one you'll have for quite some time!

Congratulations.

Sleep well. It's one of the last chances you'll get for a full night's sleep in quite a while! Once he and she come home from the hospital, it's bleary-eye time.

Durn! I tried. I looked everywhere I knew to look
and a few places I didn't.

Father.Rinse.Repeat doesn't leave enough trail to
track like we did Gaugie. Can't find anyone who
knows where to send a coupla' cases of Drypers.

Oh, Well. fils.rinse.repeat is to be congratulated
for waiting 'till the Year of the Dragon.

Ol'Master say;"an auspicious beginning.

Se¤or Clinton kinda' made cigars disreputable.

Warmest congratulations to you, LRR! Sorry I wasn't online at this thread yesterday to say so, but the happiness for you is here nonetheless!

Congrats to you, LS, and Helenator on the new addition to your family. I guess you're not too thinking too much about missing the greatest grub you could possibly ever make--02/02/2000 or 02/22/2000 . . . maybe next time.

I once heard of a guy who urged his very pregnant wife to try moving furniture, or some such, to hasten delivery. Seems it was near the end of December, and the highly practical fellow wanted the tax deduction.

<edit> Palindrome coming up.

Congratulations. He's a big boy.

Remember to keep him covered when you change his diaper.
