jebj... your comment "Please hire someone that understands options." mistakenly leads everyone else to believe that I work for CyBerCorp. I do not. If you'll look closely at my whole statement you will see that it is generically directed to those that know nothing about options and who might be miss-lead into trying them before they learn how to trade them properly. I have been trading commodities and stock options for many years and know how easy and profitable they can be and I also know how costly they can be to someone that doesn't know much about them, especially at expiration time. Yes, I agree with you that they can be safer, however, only if you know how to handle them. You have to know when to buy puts and calls and at which strike price is best over another one. In talking to Butch Jones at CyBerCorp he told me that they did go out and hire people that know about options and that they will be implementing the full range of options products as they are ready.
