Nouveau_Riche, thanks very much for that story about IBM and the rest vs. EMC. The weird thing is that IBM seems to have lost out on the server front as well. Last quarter they said their only up-revenue area was in Intel based servers, were they can't make all that much. S390, AS400 and RS6000 all were down, and they used the Y2K excuse. Boo. So why are so many analysts recommending IBM stock? Service and Internet, I guess.

EMC is the leader in storage, hands down, sounds like. And, hopefully their (DGN) servers will come to life on the heels of things like the three 9's thing with Microsoft.
