>A very large segment of their customer base is still intimidated by the web and of those who do use it, its questionable whether they want to invest the time/effort to learn about SOES/Island & other ECNs/CyberX's proprietary methods, etc., etc. - Mark

Agree with the first part of your stqtement but not the second.

The whole reason for CyberX is so one does not need to inverst time and engery into learning about the system - just a very fast entry system that does good things in the background. NO LEARNING CURVE.

I transferred quite a bit of money to Cyber from Schwab in order to get faster executions and lower commissions for day trading. Velocity is a joke...has been since day one. Their other web site is even worse. Velocity is a misnomer. It's ok for Mom and Pop buy and hold for 10 years, but not for daytrading. My only fear is that they start trying to transplant or infuse some of their philosophy in to cyber. This would be the blunder of the millenium. Mr Schwab....CyberCorp ain't broke...so don't try to fix it. it's great just the way it is.
