> ABX is to obsessed with hedging at these price levels.

Most of Barrick's hedges were written years ago, which explains why they are getting $385 per ounce. Gold hasn't been $385 in a long time. Barrick continues to do what they have always done, only SI posters seem obsessed with Barrick's hedging.

I guess we will all have to wait until Monday:

Barrick will be announcing its plans for 2000 and beyond on Monday, February 7, 2000, at 2:00 pm (EST). The live webcast presentation will include production and cost targets, development projects and its Premium Gold Sales Program.
