I'm no legal expert, but ACTV owns the push-pull patent developed by Tom Wolzien (yes, the Wall Street guy) which enables the advertiser to target a specific "victim" (gg). He sold it to ACTV in exchange for a lot of stock.

Rande:
Doing a little DD on EGRP GENE AKLM. From my charts, it looks like GENE is in a nice pull back and maybe a good place to enter. Although EGRP is pulling up again, it still would have to have a big push to break out at 29.
AKLM is sitting back down on the bottom and a good entry.

Your thoughts on any or all of these? THanks. DonnaS

WinCE seems to be no competition for the likes of IATV, WINK, and the likes because these are not OS makers. They are STB application software. WinCE is direct competition specifically for WIND and LBRT who are OS makers. However, so far WinCE is acting more like vaporware and there is always the concern for MSFT reliability. Who wants to reboot their STB? Who knows, MSFT makes it right the 4th time very often so I wouldn't count them out.

GIC and SFA do appear on the partners page at LBRT's web site.

GIC and GMH appear on the customers page.

Here is the GIC press release...
press.liberate.com

Thier main press release page is very nice...

LBRT value has been greatly depressed by the usual pump and dump that seems to go with any secondary offering. Also suffering from lock-up expiration on 1/23. Bottomed at 70 on 1/31. Rebounded a bit with everything else.

This and ICGE were my best succes stories in 99. Both 10-baggers for me. I am out of both now but looking to get back in when they settle down....

WIND is a more conservative play. Boring you might say. Definitely more for the LT portfolio... After all they have Earnings...<g>

Rande.. Can I ask what you think about MXTR and EUNI.
You mentioned both on your thread. I bought both. Even on MXTR , over a double on EUNI. I'm still holding both and really like EUNI. Thanks Jim

acom- bought friday at 44 1/2, e-analysts, viant got boost from blowout earnings, acom reporting 2-14, acom appears to be undervalued compared to rest of sector --------------First 9 mos
Company---98 Rev--99 Rev---Current MKT CAP
ACOM------19mm----56mm----1.5B (ouch)
RAZF-------9mm-----47mm----4.2 (why?)
SCNT-------5mm-----47mm----6.1 (starting to see a trend?)
VIAN-------14mm----37mm----2.4 (50% less revenue than ACOM and a mkt cap 50% higher!)
IIXL--------35mm----142mm---3.6 (also undervalued)
PXCM------31mm----53mm----2.5 (good valuation in my opinion)
USWB-------156mm---324mm---2.8 (incredibly undervalued)

this could run some next week
ps rande- like the iatv story, i can tell you from personal experience, the digital tv revolution will be big, manufacturers cannot keep up with demand and there is very little being broadcast at this time, but people know it is coming and have a big thirst for it
