Ward:

I was not inviting you to look at my portfolio performance. I made a specific reference to MOGN.

I purchased MOGN at 4 1/2. Nobody rode MOGN in '98 like I rode MOGN. Under certain circumstances, you can have access to my '98 1040.

The suggestion was that owning MOGN from when I entered until early '98, when I sold 90% of my position, was the correct thing to have done. Since the price of MOGN shares declined between that point and the end of '99 and since I had a rather nice period of performance subsequent to selling, it's sort of hard to argue otherwise.

I do not know how you turned a specific comment about my exit point for MOGN into "initiate the portfolio performance touting". But, then again, it's tradition for MOGN supporters..... take things out of context and make a big, frigging deal out of them.

I make many, many picks at SI. My picks and balanced negative commentary are here for several issues. I'm trying to help friends and to describe what I consider to be opportunities. Some of you make ONE pick, and suffer through poor or mediocre performance. That is sad, but it's even more sad that you feel like hopping into the thread for revenge at the first sign of share life.

Richard's little "some people think mushrooms are toxic" comment was not called for. I'm pleased that David's call worked out. But for Bags to imply that it was brilliance, rather than broken clock material, is silly. If MOGN hadn't taken off, it would have been "David's Rule" rather than an exception.

>> Clearly that was Rick's doing <<

Clearly, I was suggesting that you look at my trading in MOGN. You went from there.

Once again..... at the stage of development for 114 in 1997, Blitzer's statement was bullshit. There is no such thing as a brilliant change in policy. He said that he would obtain a European partner for the molecule who would provide support for worldwide development. It was NOT POSSIBLE for anyone, anywhere to negotiate a deal like that for 114 at that time. If you challenge that clear statement again, you're just pointing at your own ignorance.

My policy..... "if a management team engages in BS once, it may just do such again....... keep eyes open." That policy has served me very effectively. If you, David and Bags don't want to hear it, please, STOP READING MY POSTS.

It's very frustrating.... you guys should be here thanking Miljenko and me for our accurate, early call. Let's all rejoice, however, in the stock's recent performance. Go, MOGN!
