Nliten: If they have secured financing in 1 month, I will apologize to you and I will have deserved your laughter. Even though MPTV hasn't actually SECURED financing, I wish to make a public apology to you, Nliten. My tail is between my legs while I accept your laughter at my apparent ignorance regarding MPTV's financing. To All: As many of you know, I was quite bullish on MPTV and posted my first information on Dec. 1st, 1999. That post is copied below so you can refresh your memories. I even voted for MPTV in the "Year 2000 Stock Picking contest" in the beginning of January: Look at the link below when MPTV was at .005. Message 12518355 What changed my mind was some disturbing "first hand" information I received that MPTV had not received financing and they were having financial difficulties around January 10th, 2000. Either my "first hand" information was incorrect or the MPTV management performed some miracles in the last 30 days. Whatever the case, I've returned to my original bullish position on MPTV and I hope all MPTV shareholders forgive me for wavering in my position. Below is my original post from Dec. 1st, 1999. I obviously should have remained loyal to my original information. I've lived in Las Vegas for 10 years and I've visited the Lake Tropicana (MPTV) property many times. I chose to remain silent until I received enough positive information to post with confidence. (Also, I wanted to delay posting until I had accumulated a comfortable amount of shares at these low levels). Here is what I know to be true regarding MPTV. 1) I have spoken on the phone twice with Steve Wise. He is the Project Manager for the architectural design of the property. He is with JMA Architecture of Las Vegas. (702) 731-2033. He communicates directly with Ralph Mann of All Star Resorts. According to Steve, four (4) General Contractors are currently being interviewed for the MPTV Time-Share project in Las Vegas. It is his opinion that this project will begin in the very near future. 2) I have spoken and met with Claire and Gretchen in the Lake Tropicana office at 303 E. Harmon Ave. in Las Vegas. (702) 733-8383. Both of them have been involved with MPTV for many years and have been very cooperative and informative. I was informed that two weeks ago the property was crawling with many Contractors and Engineers inspecting the property in order to put in bids for the project. Both of them feel that this project is extremely close to being realized. I'm not in the construction business, but I don't believe General Contractors and Engineers spend time on potential construction sites unless they are very interested in retaining the contract. We cannot expect the General Contractor to be chosen overnight. There is much involved in determining which Contractor will be retained for the construction. 3) I also spoke with Greg Borgel (Zoning Consultant). (702)383-8953 extension #8953. He is the person responsible for MPTV receiving the zoning permits from Clark County in order to commence construction on the project. He didn't have an opinion on the project except to say that his duties concerning this project were completed and the permits were in place to begin construction. MPTV is closer to breaking ground now than it has ever been. As soon as a General Contractor has been retained, we will see a news release. I chose not to post on the Raging Bull thread because this post would get lost amongst the resident bashers on that thread. If anyone wishes to paste this information on the Raging Bull thread, feel free to do so. From the information I've received, I believe MPTV is poised for an incredible spike in price very soon. Don't bail out now at these low levels. Now is the time to accumulate more shares before the imminent news release announcing that a General Contractor has been retained. There's always risk involved in the purchase of any stock. My instincts as a longtime Las Vegas resident tell me that the rewards from MPTV will be well worth the risks. Best of luck to all. RSH
