Gus,

<< evolution of the symbiotic relationship between top tier manufacturers/technology providers ... and broadband service providers >>

Interesting thought and certainly not out of the question. Thanks for commenting.

Gus - on the RadioWallstreet interview with Rip Tilden, I was struck by the relationship with Nokia.
biz.yahoo.com

Rip Tilden stated: "The work we are doing for Nokia is on a technology called TDD, Time Division Duplex, that's one flavor of wide band CDMA and its especially effective at delivering high data rate transmissions like internet access. So were going to deliver that technology, over time, in a software form."

It was my understanding that FDD solutions, eg. DS-CDMA/CDMA2000, would provide the wide-area services like our celluar/PCS systems and TDD solutions will generally provide private indoor local-area fixed services. Are you aware of any countries that will provide an unpaired 3G frequency band that would require a wide-area TDD solution? Is IDC working on their own DS-CDMA wide-area solution? Corrections welcome.

Regards, Scott
