Tony: From what I recall, you can't log in 'til your check clears. From what you said, you already have an account # which sounds strange if you haven't yet mailed in the check. I had a small problem initially and I called their tech support/member services at 888-594-8227 (toll free) and they were friendly, helpful, and solved the problem painlessly. I believe ALTA will be in March but I haven't seen a specific date anywhere -- maybe someone else has. Good luck!
