Let's see...

#7 - Penny stock "investors" suddenly realize the foolhardiness of their past speculations, and enmasse salvage whatever pittance remains in their collective portfolios. While lamenting their losses, they foolishly squander the remnants over store brand beer purchased at a discount liquor outlet. The other markets, seeing the collapse of the pennies, experience massive profit taking which is documented and analyzed to death on a CNBC Bear Market special...

#8 - Penny stock speculators realize that they've consistently lost money in the illiquid markets, and without warning decide to invest strictly in large caps. CNBC notifies the world of this mass migration, and everyone except the penny players realizes that this is the much predicted market top, and so real investors pump 'n dump their overvalued large caps onto unsuspecting marks that prove once again, they have no idea of how to perform even simple DD...
