Carolyn, the Y's cool! <g>

Besides, if you and Sarkie survive just one night, you could both co-write a book, and retire on the royalties (and be able to say, "To h*ll with the stock market.")

And, as I said in my Seattle Hotel post,
"...for those on a REALLY tight budget (where you'll meet some of Seattle's most colorful characters, "up close and personal"). Only about $20 for bunks (I've always taken the top bunk).

And besides, I didn't know how much of your "portfolio" was tied up in CHTR. at the moment, so I wanted to give you some "options" regarding Seattle accommodations. <ggg>

Regarding the hotels on my "top ten list," your choices of Alexis (don't know about the views), Four Seasons Olympic, and Sorrento (longest walk to GNET meeting) are all excellent! Also from the list consider the Stouffer Madison, and Edgewater (only waterfront hotel, closest to the meeting). And regarding which one has the best bars and nightlife, h*ll if I know. <ggg> I've been out of "circulation" for years. Ask KLP. Maybe she knows. LOL

Roger

Gotta go. I was just called for dinner.
Have fun you wild n'crazy people!

PS. Rain in Seattle? Only during the "rainy season," which doesn't start until January, but is usually over by New Year's Eve.

PPS. Definitely bring you wetsuit. I'll bring my scuba tanks.
