One more time so I get this straight. Can I buy USPIX or UOPIX using just my regular broker? Or do I need to have an account with them? I wanted to be certain of that because I think I'm going to try it too.

I am in agreement. I hear from the media often how gold no longer has the importance it use to have, an to some extent that is true, but when the negative emotions are high during a stock market sell-off, gold still seems to benefit.
