Hey Scared, I agree (virtually) with everything you said, and yes I do own the stock you mention and will likely hold on to it for a while. Yes the PE ratio's are high but the products are just coming on line, and as with cell phone the explosive growth will likely be larger than even the wildest forecasts (at least that's how it was with cell phones). So are the PE's out of wack?? Maybe, maybe not. I'm not willing to sit on the sidelines to find out.
You mention that you could see 500 million units sold in a year. That's alot of chips, why shouldn't ATI look into catching some of that market. Is the technology so different? They seem to have a great R&D staff. Just some thoughts?
