Miljenko,

When you and Rick made a big deal about the Euro deal long ago, you were making a mountain out of a molehill. The real mountain is the potential of MGI-114. You have panned it. I said then and I say now that you have judged it wrong. You know more about science that I do, but those who know more about this specific science and are closer to the drug (e.g. Dr. Daniel Von Hoff) think a lot of the drug. We are close to the clinical trial results that will settle the issue. Let's put down our swords and wait for those results.

Your NBIX call has been a great one.

David

<<Regards the 114, I took position in early 98 that drug will not reach potential which someone are predicting here at SI or some other PBs. Small therapeutic dose-very small therapeutic window, nonselective distribution across tissue and organs, fast clearing from plasma-metabolite, toxicity,...are among major points which leave me very cautious about drug.>>

MZ,

With all due respect - I will take Dr. Von Hoff's and Richard Bagnell's position on the drug coupled with the results in human clinical trials over your, comparatively speaking, very limited and dated insights on 114.

Now I leave you back to what this forum is all about, a successful biotech model portfolio.
