Jon, As I have already stated in a previous post I do not work for EDIG. I am a shareholder, therefore I feel as though I am entitled to relate to the company as a part owner. No harm in that. If you sincerely feel as though there is no need for multiple codec/multiple DRM support in a PORTABLE music player then I suggest you need to do some serious investigative work in this realm. Do you know what the SDMI is? Have you ever heard of EPAC, AAC, WMA, ATRAC3, a2b as well as MP3? Do you know which codecs the major music labels will be encoding their music in once they make it available for secure download over the internet? (Hint.. it WON'T be MP3). I know you're smarter than that Jon, so please come back after you have done some reading. Cheers.
