Tropian Unveils RF Transmitter Platform That Integrates GSM, TDMA, CDMA, UMTS and More into One Handset Not only that but they are supposed to offer full-rate GPRS and EDGE, on all three frequency ranges (800, 1800, and 1900)....all while increasing talk and stand-by time. They use something called a "nonlinear RF carrier modulation and power amplifier signal processing". I have no technical understanding of what exactly they are trying to do....but I'll believe it when I see it. Just the basic Doubting Thomas in me.... Slacker
