I don't like OTC:GNNU: . . . . what's a GNUU anyhow? [not much, what's gnu with you?] Global Network, Inc. is a development stage company whose goal is to develop an advertising network of online newspaper web sites for the purpose of purchasing unused page views on these sites and reselling them to national advertisers. For the period from 4/26/99 to 9/30/99, the Company reported no revenues. Net loss totalled $161 thousand. Results are not comparable due to the 4/26/99 inception of operations. I fail to see the potential here, nor has management proven they can run a company. This is the sort of long shot I might buy at .05 cents or under, in hopes that one day they will be a quarter. The company started in the summer of 99 and for the most part, has been dropping ever since. finance.yahoo.com No history of reporting financials to the SEC? No person should ever invest in non-reporting BB stocks. It is better to just send the money to the CEO of non-reporting BB's. . . at least then you don't have to pay commission on the trade. Mike, if you would like a penny stock to play [though this is not the forum to discuss either way . . .FISHING thread is] . . .try USTI . . at .19 cents per share . . it is mostly insider owned. . .has been around for 20 years . . . has been steadily growing for many of those. . .is considered one of the leaders in its field [making consolidated software for small to mid-sized city governments . . and do you know how many of those there are in America?] . . . growing revenues. . this company has a long history of profitable quarters and has begun a string of profitable years . . . I have held this stock longer and stronger than any that I own . . .and there has never been a reverse split. . .never a scammy press release to boost share price. . .in fact, about the only way you can get news from them is by reading the SEC filings, which have been on time for many many years. . . no recent change in management .. .just building the company slowly and surely. My investment in USTI nearly 2 years ago at .045 has been better than money in the bank. . . one day, it too will reach $1.00 on the OTC. . . but when it does, it will be worth every penny. And THAT is the way we MAKE money playing penny stocks. . .by being very very very choosey. . .and when we find one that is an absolute gem. . .we stay with it year after year. . . . Private investors do not make fortunes overnight by trading OTC! Your odds are probably better playing the big payoff slots in Vegas. No more discussion of GNNU on this thread. . .
