FusionOne, a provider of Internet content synchronization services, on Wednesday
expects to launch the public beta version of its services based on an enormous data
storage infrastructure, hosted by AboveNet and using storage systems from Sun
Microsystems.

The FusionOne storage infrastructure, located at AboveNet's facility in San Jose,
initially will consist of 7 terabytes of disk space, provided by Sun's StorEdge
high-capacity storage arrays. FusionOne said it has the capability to expand to more
than 200 terabytes of hosted data by the end of the year.
