Making graphics for wireless appliances is certainly something ATI could persue. Many argue that wireless devices are going to displace the PC as the preferred access vehicle to the internet in 3-4 years so I ask why not start to move towards developing graphics for wireless products? As wireless devices catch on, people are going to want color, 3D, etc. All that really wouldn't be a huge leap for ATI. What better to be in all the major access points to the internet - TV, PC, and wireless apps like pagers and cells. It's really not that far fetched an idea.
