TTOBST: Yeah, those forward-looking statements are lawyer generated "everything-but-the-kitchen-sink" forebodings. It's the result of an overly-litigious society. A society which requires "WARNINGS" on paper coffee cups that warns us that the coffee is hot!

TTOBST: Did you notice that the 1998 write-offs in connection with the Visigenic merger led to a decline in "Cash." Whereas, notwithstanding the 1999 write-offs which were real estate and InterBase re-org related, "Cash" went up significantly?

"Cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments as of December 31, 1999 were $197.7 million, up from $179.5 million as of September 30, 1999."

So, INPR's financial strength was enhanced during the Fourth Quarter, notwithstanding the write-offs.
