If SDS and NOW means you can store and transport gases without pressure.... well the implication for other market applications is an enormous one.... for example rail car transport of clorine and clorine storage to name two.

First, the cost of dopants in SDS is many times the cost in a cylidner. I doubt tonnage buyers of CL2 will tolerate even a 1% premium for safety. Second, the 85# vapor pressure of CL2 is not that high, a leak is not necessarily deadly and the IC industry doesn't use much CL2, prefering HCl.
