let me read you two consecutive sentences from the B of A report...i'd fax it to ya..but my copy is terrible. call me if ya want and i'll read it to ya.

1.) Cree technology addresses a market opportunity we measure in excess of $10 Billion.
2.) White light conversion blue LEDs, red/blue/green LED pixel clusters, RF products, emerging power products, and laser diodes create a massive electronic and opto-electronic market opportunity.

imo if you drop laser diodes from the second sentence. the first sentence remains fully valid.

edit....cree's current sales are < $100 million per year.

>> what do you crusty old CREEtins really think about CREE?

I think unclewest has made a ton of money on cree, and hope he doesn't blow it all on rmbs <again>.

At this point it's a gear head's stock.

Crossing the Chasm is a more formidable task than most Creetins comprehend.

btw, We're coming to San Diego in style <g>! Aunt Nancy just bought a gorgeous wedgewood blue Mercury Mountaineer. She found a loaded '99 on sale (210 hp V6, 4wd, leather, 6 CD changer, etc.); it was only 200Q, which cost her $5,450.00 last May.
