congrats on being #1 on the hot list! csf.colorado.edu biased but good data. I believe that there has been some very large play's that have taken place. The play's have been of the nature: short gold, bond, and oil futures take the proceeds to be long stock futures. This would explain the inverse relationship between gold and the NDX. The need to unwind would be avoided at all costs, IF POSSIBLE. If this is true then I would expect to see a very quick and hard move to protect the trade. Then when (and if) that fails .. FWIW Gersh
